「中山亭」為中山步道群的其中一個端點，步道入口位於永光宮旁，廟前廣場可暫時停車，沿途緩緩上坡可看到龜山島與蘭陽平原，步道舒服好走適合親子共遊，來此可俯瞰宜蘭市區、中山茶園美景，並可觀賞日出與夜景。

Jhong Shan Pavilion is one of the sites on Jhong Shan Trail. The entrance is located by the Yunguang Temple. One may park temporarily on the square before the temple. Along the uphill path are views of Guishan Island and Lanyang Plain. The trail is comfortable for a family tour. You can also observe Ilan City and Jhong Shan Tea garden, in addition to sunrise and night view.
